Terms of use for Vancouver 10: what the lists offer, how businesses are compared, paid plans, business listings and fair use.
Acceptance
These terms govern your use of Vancouver 10 (vancouver10.com), a free guide to Vancouver businesses. By using the site, you agree to follow them.
What the lists offer
Help in finding and comparing businesses, nothing more. They are not professional advice and do not guarantee the work, price or suitability of anything a business offers.
How businesses are compared
On public information such as average rating, review count, category, neighbourhood, opening hours, phone and photos, weighed with our own editorial judgment. Those ratings belong to third parties and may shift.
Accuracy
We review lists regularly but cannot promise every detail is current between reviews. Check directly before visiting or hiring.
Business listings and paid plans
Owners claim their listing at no charge through “For businesses”, where they can correct details and add information. Pro and Top are paid extras, charged through Stripe, with the cost and renewal shown before payment; a Top position is marked as such. We may edit or roll back owner changes that are inaccurate.
Fair use
Do not use Vancouver 10 for illegal purposes, copy content in bulk with automated tools, probe restricted areas, impersonate others or submit false information.
Intellectual property
Our text, the composition and ranking of each list, the design and the Vancouver 10 name are protected. Linking and short quotations are welcome; substantial copying requires permission.
Liability and updates
We work to keep information reliable, but we don’t answer for what listed businesses provide. Nothing in these terms reduces rights you hold under applicable consumer protection law. We may revise these terms, and the version posted here applies. Contact: info@vancouver10.com.
